Day 3 Las Vegas College Baseball Classic

Ohio State finds a way to defeat Oklahoma in the 9th inning.  The first three innings saw most of the scoring in this game. The middle innings saw 0's by both teams. Kyson Witherspoon threw some solid innings and had two strikeouts in the ninth, however a couple of defensive blunders would really hurt the Sooners.  The Buckeyes would rally in the top of the ninth and take the lead 4-3. Oklahoma drops to 0-2 in the tournament. Ohio State would finish 2-0 in the Las Vegas College Baseball Classic.

In the second game of day 3 the Pitt Panthers got a 19-7 win over the Cal Bears. Many thought the game would be over but Cal kept fighting  until the end. At one point the game was 13-1 but later on in the game Cal made it a 15-7 game. PJ Moutzouridis hit a 3-run homer to give the Golden Bears some hope. Unfortunately it was too late and Pitt would continue to add to the lead and take home the winning trophy to Las Vegas college Baseball Classic.
