Nick Harlan and Central Arkansas Preparing For the 2023 Season

 


The Bears have a great tough but competitive schedule in 2023. This year coach Harlan is putting his kids to the test. The Bears will play three top 25 opponents on the road this season. No.1 LSU , Arkansas which reached the College World Series in 2022 and Vanderbilt. The Gameday atmosphere at all these stadiums is second to none.  Hopefully UCA will make a run this year.  Coach Harlan has great positive energy and that will be infectious in the dugout this season.

 The first weekend in college baseball had some interesting match ups. So who was impressive? First, I'll talk about the teams that stayed undefeated, then the teams who had impressive weekends both at home and on the road. Many teams excelled this weekend but I'll only name a few in this article.  Impressive Undefeated Teams Michigan   went 4-0 in   the   Puerto Rico Challenge this Weekend defeating 4 teams from 4 different conferences. Arizona State was in a dog fight this past weekend vs Ohio State; every game in the series was competitive. ASU managed to go 3-0 and get the sweep. Teams that won the series on the road Illinois (2-1) won 2 out of 3 vs Abilene Christian at Whataburger field in Corpus Christi.
